Default Pet Bakery Cheese Paws

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to tell you about a new treat I found for my hams.

It's actually a dog biscuit, and is called Pet Bakery Cheese Paws. It's from Pets At Home and is £2.25. I've included a pic so you can spot it easily if you want some yourselves.

They're shortbread biscuits made with cheese. They're very crunchy so good for keeping their teeth in shape.

Ingredients: Flour, margarine, cheese, eggs & rosemary extract.

No artificial colourings or flavourings, no preservatives or E numbers & no meat by-products.

Check out http://www.petbakery.co.uk/products.htm for a list of the other flavours they offer.

I've given one to each of my hams, and they LOVE them. I even nibbled a corner myself, (yes, I know, I'm sad), and they're actually really nice. Though in my defence, on the back of the box it says, "...all of our delicious shortbread biscuits are so healthy and tasty that you could eat them yourself if you wanted to." See! :P

I'm always on the look out for new things for my hammies to try, so just thought I'd share it with you all.

~Katie

I would likely only give a bit of one as they are quite rich and contain quite a few fatty ingredients but I bet they love them and there are no artificial bits or salt listed. How big are they?

Each one's about 2 inches in diameter and each ham had about half a 'paw'. I just want to go back to Pets At Home today and pick up the other flavours- I suppose I should let the hams eat these ones first though! I just love finding them new things. Gizmo took his from me and thought it was Christmas all over again. His (far too big) ears pricked up and I swear he smiled! LOL
