Default Beefcake

Hi
Playing with Fur-nando last night, it struck me that he is on the slim side. I haven't weighed him yet, will do tonight when he gets up, but I am wondering what is best to help him beef up a bit? He is on P@H premium hamster mix. Can I add sunflower seeds? Does anyone know where I can buy unhulled seeds? I want him to work for them still . He is still a young lad, so i wonder if additional protein would help him out? I think I can justify buying myself some eggs then haha.

I've got Izu on P@H Premium and added mealworms with crushed heads for extra yumminess and because...he's puny!!

If you feel he'd gain from having extra protein then go get eggs. XD

Not sure if you have a Holland and Barretts where you are but they sell unhulled seeds...
I got Peanuts weight up with Ready brek with soya milk, and soggy shreddies.. Egg is another great idea ...

We DO have H&B! The city centre is my local shops though, so I do loathe going at the weekend. I can go on a weekday next week though, thank you I've been checking in Asda for them all the time and faced facts that I might need to leave my neighbourhood lol.

I am super excited to be buying a box of eggs this weekend. You have no idea.. my dad has just posted me a cheque so I can go out a bit and eat proper food. Summer holidays suck for poorly students who can't work lol.

Woop! EGG TREATS!

I think I'll give the meal worms a miss.. I can't face that! x

While you there see if they have pumpkin seeds as they are fattening. They are about 1.99 for quite a big bag..I keep mine in the fridge as it keeps the goodness in and they prefer them cool..

I can't do mealworms either. I keep trying - I go into stores, pick up a bag, gag, and put them back.

Tofu is another source of protein. Mine adore tofu!

Yep lots of boiled egg white for mine (not sure if you can feed the yolk or not?)
Boiled chicken goes down well too
Will have to get some mealworms as I've started to overcome the fear of them mostly

Ick! Can't afford chicken, luckily, I couldn't face boiling it! He can have some egg white with me though, nomnom!

Can I give him Cauldron Foods Marinated Tofu? It's my bestest tofu . And do you think they can have a little bit of quorn? I eat a ton of that too. Mind, I guess if it upsets my tum in large quantities, wouldn't want to risk it. x

I use Cauldrons but the plain, non-seasoned one. You can keep it for three days, they get their share, and then I cook the rest!
