Which Hamster Food is best for Dwarf hamsters like robo's?
 

Which hamster food is best for roborovski dwarf hamsters-should i use say ''Harry Hamster'' or should i use a food especially for dwarf hamsters cause its tinier pieces-easier for them to eat-whereas ''Harry Hamster'' is large pieces-more suitable for syrian hamsters perhaps.

What dwarf hamster foods are the best?I know Burgess do one-it contains very small seeds and also contains mealworms for the protein they need.
Do any of you use burgess-or is there a better dwarf hamster food than that brand-or do most of you just use ''Harry Hamster''? If so how to your robo's manage to cope with it with their tiny mouths-can they manage it?

Theres so many different brands out there that i dont know which one to feed to give a roborovski optimal nutrition without having to give any supplements.W'ed like to see our new robo live till about three or four years old at least-is this possible for a well looked after robo?

I use harry hamster for my robos and they manage the huge pieces infact they are the pieces that are always eaten first. I'm hopefully going to be changing on to the burgess food since its better for dwarfs with the protein etc.

Hazel Hamster is an excellent food in terms of consistency and quality of its ingredients. I've been using it for a while too with my robos. I supplement all-in-one lab blocks (not sure what's available in the U.K. but I use Purina LabDiet Rrolab RMH3000 with 22% protein), mealworms (mine only like the live kind), porridge oats, extra nuts as they are so very active, and some other grains like millet.

P.S.: Hazel Hamster = Harry Hamster (just U.S. vs. U.K. labels)

I use Harry Hamster too and I used to use P@H premium which I found quite good. I see no real difference between 'hamster' food and 'dwarf hamster' food except maybe some dwarf hamster foods have less sugar/seeds because of the diabetes risks. :)

My new Dwarf Hamster Mix's.

There have been worked out by me to contain the correct level of fat/protein & fibre. They have seeds/grains/fish/nuts/mealworms in.

I use Harry Hamster. It seems to be quite popular on this thread, along with Burgess. I'm thinking about trying yours soon, Silver but not yet as I have plenty of food atm

I use Harry Hamster, my robo is fine with it. I also add kitten biscuits, porridge oats, dried mealworms and millet to the mix. :D
