Default Re: Onion and Leeks in a hamster mix

That seems completely unnecessary, and I would avoid this mix.
Its advised to avoid baby food with onion in it, so hamster mix is all the same x

Question Re: Onion and Leeks in a hamster mix

What would happen to a hamster if it ate leeks? I gave my hamster one of those bar things and I didn't realise that they had leeks in them until I looked more closely at the ingredients. I don't know if he actually ate any leeks but Im not 100% sure. I took it out as soon as I realised and it wasn't in his cage for long.

He might get a slight upset stomach but he’ll probably be fine since he only had a little nibble.
