Is this okay?
I have a dwarf hamster and I know there is a high chance of them getting diabetes so I'm trying to be smart about giving her the right foods. Right now her food is a mixture of things, I will quickly give a few of the main ingredients:
Wheat, while millet, corn, red milo, wheat shorts, oat groats, dehydrated alfalfa meal, wheat middlings, black oil sunflower seeds, dried green split peas, flaxseed, ground wheat, ground corn, dried banana, soybean meal, safflower seed, dried papaya, dehulled peanuts, dried carrot flakes, dried carrot.
The rest of the ingredients are more scientific so I won't mention anymore, but based off those ingredients, should that be okay for her to eat? I've been paranoid so I've been picking out the corn, peas, and the dried fruits because of the sugar but I want to know what you guys think. Also, what are some other things I should stay away from?
