Exclamation I need help with food problems...

Hi guys,
I feed my hamster food and put food in the whole bowl and fill it up if it needs it, is that ok or should i feed her a little everyday?
As well as this, what type of treats do you give your hammy?
What do you use to stop your hamster chewing the bars?
If you know a website that sells hamster stuff put it in below please.

To stop a hamster chewing the bars, it`s wise to house him/her in a larger perspex cage like a Zoozone 1 if the hamster is a dwarf species. Bar biting is usually due to boredom, stress or learned behaviour. Sometimes if the cage is too small or too bare, a hamster will seek out the bars in frustration.

You don`t say what food you use? Which hamster food to you currently use? I notice you have an older Russian dwarf in your other thread that was left for six days while you went on holiday? How is she now?

I feed with the full bowl, normally thh hoard a little
Then eat it from the bowl, leaving what they don't like. I have had no problem with this, I normally fill it when I do the water if it needs it.

I give syrians honey sticks, carrot biscuits, babyfood,
Fresh veg, sunflower seeds, millet seeds and sprays.

You can get bitter apple spray, I don't know if this works, I have a bad cheewing boy, he now lives in a bin cage so he cant chew out, but putting a wood peg or weaving card where they chew can help.

Zoo plus and equaninecaninefeline are the sites I use and eBay!
Hope this helps!

Thank you for being so friendly, she is getting better, her eye is still a bit red but the swelling has gone down. Thank you so much for the information. I am out of her food, and she never really eats it, she only likes a small selction of everything in it.
