Bell pepper I think you're talking about.

My G.pigs get it regularly but never tried the hamsters with it, should think it's fine. Red Yellow Green are all pretty much the same they change colour as they grow I think. Some taste sweeter than others though personally I'm not keen on any of them.

Yup, its when the ripen - the red ones are the ripest and meant to be the sweetest although I've usually found orange ones to be sweeter.

I'm always cooking with peppers, never even thought to give Luna some, will give her some when I next chop one up

Yes those and celery are Melvins favourites!! he loves them!! gobbles it straight up as soon as i put it in his cage!! xx
