Re: Can hamsters eat hay cakes?
Can, but won't
I was given some to see if my degu would eat them, he wasn't too fussed so I tried the hamsters. They were given a cursory "something new in the cage" nibble, then ignored.

Re: Can hamsters eat hay cakes?
I guess then it must depend on the hamster as they are all different. I think Pippa would love these, she seems to like everything I get her, what a little chubster. XxX

Re: Can hamsters eat hay cakes?
Thanks.
Hah, yes, I didn't think it would be something particularly popular, but I think I'll put one in the cage just to see what he makes of it!
