Default Can hamsters eat raisins?

I read that you can give them grapes, but what about raisins

We often give raisons and the hammies love them. One every couple of days or so as a treat is enough though as they are quite high in sugar

Mine absolutely love raisins!!! I bought a little treat bag for them from Pets at Home with raisins, peanuts, sunflower seeds and little bits of dried fruit and give them some every couple of nights, the minute they smell raisins they're out like a shot

How about dwarfs that are more prone to the fructose/sugars though? I`ve never fed raisins, chocco drops or anything `sticky` or sugary to my hamsters for fear of this or even getting soft in their pouches? Maybe I`m just paranoid!

I know lol! I felt silly about asking since I read you can give them grapes. but I just wanted to be sure before I offered them a raisin

Ask any questions you have on HC no matter how silly they might seem.. thats our motto!
