Hello all,

Libby has been doing spectacular. We had a few guest come over and Libby was so good with them. Being super friendly and grooming himself on them, he has come so far! On the other hand, he never fails to make me laugh at his cute little quirks. He decided to sleep on the glass lol!

I also made a lid for the Detolf! I’m super happy with it! I can finally put the hammock, hanging puzzles, and hanging toys in his cage!

That little face up against the glass is so cute! Lovely autumn photo too & the lid for your detolf looks great, I'm sure Libby is going to love having some extra hanging toys.

Aww good to see Libby enjoying his hamster mail, my hams will be jealous to know that Libby gets the whole box to himself when they have to share

Aww, so much catching up to do on your darling Libby's thread! I absolutely love reading about all of his terrific progress with taming and how his adorable Libby personality is shining through all the brighter. I'm so very happy for the two of you and know you must be so thrilled. Aww, Libby washing himself on your hand for the very first time must have made your heart melt; those are the moments that you will treasure always. Too bad we weren't born with four arms so we could take a pic of that milestone minute while enjoying the experience as well, lol.

I had a giggle that your cutie spitted out the red pepper and wasn't too amused at peanuts at first but now absolutely adores them. Libby sure is a silly ham and his initial fussiness and later love for different foods so reminds me of my Eros. She did the exact same thing with mealworms and peppers, too.

I oohed and awwed at Libby's gorgeous and precious pic while eating food on his cork log. That photo is absolutely stunning and his eyes are so endearing and totally melted my heart. I am in love with him and his cuteness. I also love his wonderful natural theme and know he will have the greatest time exploring it. I think the mushroom adds a nice whimsical touch and a pop of color - love it! I also had to chuckle at him going off and onto your hand repeatedly while doing his bed method taming sessions. Hams are just the cutest!

Wow, absolute cuteness overload with those too sweet, sleeping pics of Libby all curled up in a cozy ball!!! I also enjoyed seeing all of his cutesy pics with those great Halloween props; I especially love the last two. Libby made me grin from ear to ear at his pic where he is sniffing the witch's hat and then later is checking out what is cooking in the black cauldron - such perfect pics for Halloween! I'm so glad that the weather has cooled down quite a bit for the two of you and Libby is now even more active; I know that must be a total relief for you both.

I'm sure that Libby will be enjoying his special package of treats and toys tremendously; he truly is one extremely lucky boy to have such a huge box all to himself. That is a perfect Halloween treat to celebrate the amazing and loving bond the two of you share. OMG, Libby's face pressed against the glass while he is sleeping is just too, TOO cute and absolutely pulling on my heartstrings. The autumn pic with Libby on the leaves is absolutely gorgeous and totally perfect. He sure is very photogenic and a real charming, little prince. Great lid for the detolf cage, too; I know Libby will appreciate all the extra hanging toys.

I am SO happy for you and Libby that he has definitely come out of his shy shell now and has truly blossomed into the adventurous, fully confident, charmer that he is. Yippee for you both!

Thank you so much Dreamtree for your lovely response! Lol, yes, I will I had four arms to get my camera, pick him up from his cage, get a treat etc.! I as well think we have come super far! Thank you!

Libby tried baby food for the first time yesterday and he thought it was disgusting! He took a little lick, closed his eyes, turned his nose, wnd ran lol! It was the cutest thing ever! I wish I caught it on camera. He’s such a silly boy!

He has also been enjoying his hanging toys but ignores his hammock which disappoints me (because I got it for $17, it was being donated to an ethical hamster breeder and rescue so it was a good use of money). He has been loving his “Treat Hanger”! https://instagram.com/p/Bp0oflMHHwf/

They can be very picky about it, my Chineseys love most of the ones I tried but my Russians haven't been keen on meat ones at all, I don't think they like to get their whiskers wet either

He looks as though he's having loads of fun with his treat hanger!

Thank you cypher. I tried a veggie baby food with kale and spinach, which he would eat in regular form lol. He also dosen’t eat other mushy foods I give him, I guess he just dosen’t like them!
