Good to see you back. Another dog!!! Congratulations. Dogs are just so brilliant. I !ove my two.

I now have 8 hamsters!!! They are all wonderful and cute and I love them.

Hope your dad comes round to the idea of LJ living with you at your mums. I love Greece and had some fab holidays many moons ago in my 20s.

Hope you had a lovely holiday in Greece. The last time I was outside of England was, wow, 5 and a half years ago - and that was somewhere cold. No idea when I last went somewhere nice and warm and beachy.

Maybe you could see what Jasper makes of your favourite songs?
Thank you AP!

It's very sweet to hear how Oreo has found lots of energy and is copying Pemba, they sound like such a cute pair
Yes it was a lovely holiday and I love having another puppy . Pemba and Oreo are honestly such a well matched pair.

Thank you FF ! Congratulations on your new little hamsters! I wish I had more than one, much as I love Larry-Jasper, but I need to put him first.

I know I really am not spending much time on the forum anymore and honestly I do miss it but life has got in the way as usual lol.

I haven't actually seen Jasper in about a week because I've just gone back to school (last Wednesday) and I didn't want to stay over at my Dad's first week back. It also means I've started my dreaded GCSEs, which have proved to be challenging so far. I'm at a disadvantage because my year will only have two years to prepare, whereas the year below will have three years to prepare (so they've also started their GCSEs as well). I also chose a stupidly hard combination of subjects (well done Chesca) of Triple Science, Spanish, History and Art on top of my compulsory subjects (English, Maths and RS) so I'm going to have a busy two years. For non-UK users, GCSEs are just exams we take at the end of year 11, I hope that explains it well enough. I've had quite a lot of homework so far, but I am actually keeping on top of it much better than I did last year (where I saved it until the day before it was due in and then had a mini panic attack). Anyway enough of the boring stuff.

I'm seeing Jasper tomorrow night, so that will be nice, as I've missed my little fluff ball. This Sunday, it will be Oreo's 6 year anniversary with me! I can't believe I've had him that long! I got him a little present (any excuse to buy things for my pets I will take ). It's a turquoise pet bed with colourful zig zags on it. I got it in the Pets At Home sale for £5, which I thought was reasonable for a decent sized pet bed from P@H. I can't for his reaction. On Sunday, my brother is also going to University, so I'm excited for him and the fact I will pretty much get the house to myself (apart from my pets and Mum) and all the junk food lol. I saw Hermes a couple of weeks ago and he has grown so much since I came back from holiday! He's almost as big as Harvey and he's only 19 weeks old, so he's going to be a big dog. He's very well behaved on walks, compared to Harvey, as they often compete over who's the better dog, which is always fun to watch. Hugo is still tiny and very different to the labs, in the sense he's not quite as hyper, but still very playful. Hugo is very good at 'sit', but hasn't quite mastered lead walking (he tends to sit on the pavement and stay there).

I think that's all my life updates. I really do want to try and come online more often and contribute to the community, but for now I guess I'm just mainly posting here. I'm very grateful to those who sit and read my waffly posts and reply and it just makes me so happy so thank you .

Great to hear the dog updates. It is amazing how fast puppies grow.

Your GCSEs sound amazing! You can always retake at any time in your life (not that I think you will fail, but just to take the pressure off).

Oreo's bed sounds like a bargain. I love buying prezzies for all my pets! Six years. Goodness. My wabbits are all five this year. Will have to get something nice for them.

Sounds nice to have all the junk food and mum all to yourself!!! Hope your brother enjoys uni.

Good to hear from you as ever. Hope you are enjoying these cooler autumn days. I love this time of year.

Good to hear all your news chesca. Hope Larry -Jasper was in good form when you saw him.
Interesting combination of GCSEs chosen even if it will keep you busy. You should enjoy the science with your focus on animal welfare in the future. The best way is to keep on top of stuff from the beginning. So you have begun well. If you get stuck on anything, consider getting a GCSE revision guide early on. They explain things really well and you can look at it at home when there is no one else to help.

Sounds like you are going to be very busy Chesca and I wish you the best of luck with it, not that I think you will need it of course.

I have that little zig zag bed for Boris lol, just a smaller size though than the one you will have for Oreo. I hope he likes it and makes more use of it than Boris

Hope you enjoyed your time with Larry-Jasper yesterday

I don't envy you having all that work to do, but it'll be worth it afterwards Good to hear Larry Jasper and the dogs are doing fine. Hope your teachers go through the marking strategy with you. A lot of points to be gained by covering all the elements of the marking strategy/syllabus (can't remember what it's called now). Even if it's just one line that covers each part of the syllabus - within whatever you write. That's my tip anyway!

Nice to hear an update on your self and pets. Triple science urgh! I found science difficult at school but I revised hard.
This zig zag bed sounds lovely, I don't recall seeing my local p@h selling it. I'm sure Jasper will love it.
How did it go seeing Jasper?

I'm glad that you had a lovely holiday in Greece. It sounds like it was an absolutely terrific trip and tons of fun, too. I am also happy to hear that all of your fluffies are doing great and you also now have a miniature schnauzer puppy. He sounds absolutely adorable; I love this breed of dog. I hope that you and Oreo have an incredible time celebrating his Happy 6 Year Gotcha Anniversary on Sunday. His new bed sounds great, and I'm sure that he will love it. Good luck with your GCSE's; I'm sure you will do great!!!
