Re: My WW hammie
Nice name
They can live to around 2yrs, some live longer some not so long, but I guess you could call that the expected life span.
They all age differently too, some begin to show signs of age, maybe slowing down a bit & possibly a bit of fur thinning after about 18 months while others may not really show any change so there's no straight answer really!

Re: My WW hammie
Thanks, I hope so, she's still active on her wheel & loves veggies but I noticed she hasn't touched her food dish the last 3 nights? I think she's eating out of her stash she's got in her house?

Re: My WW hammie
Are you the same poster that said you thought your hammy was getting thin and not eating? Our Syrian regularly doesn't touch food in his bowl for 3 nights - he has massive hoards all over the place lol and sits crunching inside his house. They actually don't eat that much of the stuff from the food bowl each day, most of it gets hoarded Fresh food usually gets eaten straight away though.
