Can anybody tell me if this hamster is a winter white?

Bought her from a pet store so I'm sure she's a hybrid but her name is Chloe Rose Petal. I've had year for one year as of today..Oct 25, 2015 but she is probably 3-4 mo older than that. I've never known what species she is tho. She was aggressive when I brought her home but now sits in my hand but us still nippy at times. Thank you so much!

It's a safe bet she's a hybrid as she came from a pet store, highly unlikely she'd be a pure bred WW.
She's beautiful either way.

As she came from a pet store she's likely not pure bred. Though she may still have slight pigment change in the colder months.
She is a very nice looking ham though

Gorgeous WW colouring but more likely to be a hybrid Russian. Pet stores won`t sell pure bred animals unless they have certification of their breeder and that breeder has proof that their lines are from known backgrounds. My first Russian dwarf was this coat colour and he was a lovely lad. Enjoy him for what he is. x

Just to reinforce what people have been saying about pet stores and hybrids/pedigrees. I have seen a tank of dwarf hams labeled as Winter Whites but upon inquiring have been told that they are indeed hybrids. You'll be pleased to know that those tanks are now properly labelled!

Yea..people should know..pet stores employees should know there's a difference too...not that it really matters in terms of it being a nice pet or no but when I bought Chloe they didn't know anything..not even if she was male or female..but I made them find that out..lol
