Default Very Vocal or Behavior Problem?

I adopted a pregnant WW and she had 5 pups. Since the day they where born one pup stood out. He squeaks ALL THE TIME! His brother touches him, he wants the wheel, I came close ...everything makes him squeak. And its not a little squeak, no you can hear him on the other side of the house. I thought his brother was bulling him, but all his brother tries to do is sleep with him, or sometimes he"ll poke him with him nose.

Is he (named Squeaker) just vocal, a very scardy hamster, or is it a behavior problem? Has anyone had this kind of experience with their WW pups?

Should I separate Squeaker and his brother (Nibbles)?

He sounds like hes just vocal to me, I'd leave him with his brother for the moment I think

What does poking with the nose mean in hammy language? Especially among hams. With humans it usually means MOVE YOUR FAT PUDGY FOUL SMELLING HUMAN FINGERS....

I wonder if Hams getting really vocal is a little known sign of the Apocalypse.....everyones hams are doing it these days. If mine start, I'm gonna get worried

I'm with you Skeever, if my four hams start being vocal then I'll be worried. Let's hope they don't get any ideas of mimicking the budgie that I am looking after at the moment as he is very vocal, lol.

I'm confused - now you're poking people with your nose?

Just be glad I didn't think to record Bertie doing the budgie impressions, then you'd be hearing the impressions instead of just hearing the impressions exist We named him Albert Rudy Buckminster, Bertie Buck for short, I wonder if it should've been Bertie Budgie for short instead lol
I swear my pets have formed a band or choir lately and just forgotten to tell the humans...

Pooky just squeaked.

I think.

His first major cage clean, and as he stepped into the cage, I could SWEAR I heard a tiny lil squeak sound. Is it that low of a sound you could mistake it for something else. I'm definite that me and Ziggy didn't squeak

The end is nigh!!!!!!

PS Greedy little booger. The whole first inch of litter was stashed food. I was wondering why it didn't get lower as he walked on it day after day....

When the end comes, we should be nice to the hamsters. Maybe they'll take us with them......they're clearly much better at saving up for a rainy day than I ever was.....
