Default changing color...

Aww...my darker winter white Lyuze is beginning to change color !! She was the brownish/greyish color and now the brown is turning white.
Strangely enough, mostly in the middle of her body, so she looks a bit funny
Still as happy as can be and VERY social. I have to make some pictures...

ps. I'm surprised there is so little activity in this folder. I'm amazed at these Winter Whites. They are LOVELY little hamsters. Such little puppies !!! So beautiful, tame and funny. Is it because they can be harder to find or because there are a lot of hybrids out there ?

Aww so cute! Would love to see some pics!

I know, I don't know why they aren't more talked about. I LOVE winter whites, I think they are absolutely lovely. I'm on a mission to get me a couple of purebreds.

Yeah mine are hybrids so I post on the hybrid forum. But my boy has started to turn lighter. I noticed it last week. Last winter he went a very light colour and looked very dashing

This is Eric in winter:

I keep watching Star my WW incase she starts changing colour. Not noticed anything yet and as she's a merle I'm not sure how that will affect it. No change with either of my hybrids either

Well Toddy isn't a pure WW, but I've noticed that he's got a little dusting on white coming through. Damn it, he's only just turned back to grey! He was all white when I got him.

Silvermist is slightly changing, her eyebrows are getting lighter and its spreading a bit but still mostly grey. She was practically all white when I got her other than a cross of silver on her back that misted out. I got her in March lol xxx
