Re: i have sourced one!
Lucky! :L Congrats on your new fluff, WW are so lovely.
I have to wait, because there aren't any breeders in Devon that I can find and I can't afford a courier at the moment. :'( I'm so jealous!
Where are you getting it from?

Re: i have sourced one!
Is it from a National Hamster Council registered breeder? You should get a full pedigree and ensure the person is a responsible breeder to assure purity.
There is a list of registered hamsteries here:
Prefix - National Hamster Council

Nooboo say they breed pudding hamsters but my research has lead me to understand that there is no such thing x

Re: i have sourced one!
You need to check that the breeder is registered with the National Hamster Council who grant their licences to prove they are genuine WW breeders. These breeders show and breed their lines with other known registered people, so anyone admitting to having pure bred WW Russian dwarfs should be able to show you their status. If they can`t, then your buying a hybrid. x

Yes I checked, just got him home. He isn't the cutest thing and he is a little nervous so will leave her to settle

There isn't - so any ham called a "pudding" is likely to be a hybrid rather than pure WW
