Smile Percy's thread :)

Hi, I said I would introduce my new hamster, so this is his thread. He is called Percy, a winter white but I doubt he is pure. I have had him a week today, and have found it difficult to get pictures of him! He is just getting used to being handled, as I left him a few days to settle in and is now quite comfortable and I can handle him lots! He did nip a bit at first, but hasn't recently. So here are the few pictures I could get, sorry about some of the quality!

Ok well that's him, I hope the pictures work, If they don't I will edit this post and try again! He is the 'normal' colouring for a russian dwarf, and he has the three peaks on his side e.c.t, so is this just know as 'normal' or is there another name? thanks!

The name for "normal" is agouti I think. My essy is also agouti WW/hybrid (p@h adoption so impossible to tell really). He is very very cute! I especially love the 4th picture

Oh ok thanks He was from cadbury garden centre, who are know to be really good for small animals as they breed on site and handle them. I could definitely tell that they knew a lot more than when I went to p@h, as they hired people who owned animals and where genuinely interested in them. I have had guinea pigs from p@h before and from my experience it has been fine! But after having to put him down for a neurological/brain problem I didn't want anything to go wrong I am so happy that I can handle him lots now and he always wants to come and climb on my hand
