The catch is that looking like campbells isnt enough to mean they are campbells. I've seen hybrids who look like perfect winter whites or whatever... But who came from a pet shop labelled as "russians" which means that regardless of looks they've got to be hybrids.
Genes don't just show as how someone looks - a hybrid could look like a perfect winter white but the whole family could still be genetically prone to diabetes because of genes that aren't showing visibly (and winter whites aren't a species that tends to be genetically prone to diabetes - hybrids are though)

Would a hybrid still change colouring if they carried the WW genes while being hybrid anyway ??
