Nutmeg <3
Today I got a Russian dwarf hamster ! She was free at Petsmart because she isn't good with other hamsters and bites... but I have learned to never give up on hamsters.. And I thing the sign said she had a home but was returned because of the biting... they said she bites more then normal dwarfs would...?
Okay any way.. here is Nutmeg (sorry the picture are blurry and may be large)

Re: Nutmeg <3
Thanks every one, she actually seems very friendly. I was petting her back lightly at the pet store and when I put her in her new cage. She didn't even flinch

She's gorgeous! We ended up with a little nippy Russian girl ham who the staff all insisted was a horrible little thing. She's lovely now and adores company and handling after a lot of care and attention. Nutmeg will be so much better off with you than people who don't understand her, congrats on your newest addition

Thanks Have you used that bath tub technique with any of your hamsters? If so, did it work?

Re: Nutmeg <3
Thank you for bringing her home One bite and alot of unexperienced people freak out and think they are 'horrible'. Bit of time and patience and even the nippiest hamster can become a complete angel

When I got my first hamster. He bit a lot! but I just spent most of my day with him , and after a week . From then on. He was the most wonderful pet I have ever had. He hadn't bit ANYONE from that point on
