Exactly! I will not make someting smaller than the rody caus i have that , if im gona make a bincage it needs to be HUGE the problem im having is that i can only find really tall and deep bins, not ones with a big floorspace. Dunno how well shelves work in bins?

Although if the hammy is big enough i can use my 80x45 cm "ratcage" (in my opinion a hamstercage) ^^,

Thanks for comenting!!

Good The bigger the better, and what about the biggest IKEA samla storage box? We've got a few bins made of those and they're a good size.
And 80cm by 45cm isn't a rat cage in my opinion lol. Mind we have the Aurora 450 (roughly 100cm by 60cm and like 80cm tall plus its legs) and I call that a hamster cage too

Yeah i also think the bigger the better for any animal cage. After all they need room to move and enjoy life in when we are choosing to have them in our houses, plus the need for space for toys is also essential in my opinion!

I know! its crazy that they call it for a ratcage! i would not use any smaller than the Royal suite cage for rats personaly, thats what ive been using for mine, but they have all wandered now so im looking for trying something a bit less smelly and easyer to keep when buisy with other stuff, the rats took all my time :P hehe! They are so cute tho ^_^

But i digress,
I will check out IKEA , but would need to be online tho caus i dont have one of their stores in my area. Do you know if they ship smaller items like the samla boxes? Or do they just ship larger items like wardrobes and sofas and such? :P

Thank you for an Great answer!

Exactly Hams need toys and stuff (even if one of ours won't use them lol)
I've got similar views to you on rat cages I think, although we don't actally have rats (plan to get them one day).

I'm glad the SAMLA boxes are able to be delivered and were useful

Looks like you're going to be well prepared for a very lucky hammy. Can't wait to see the cage when it's done and the final hammy you choose.
