Thanks Sushi, I have mentioned the really useful box that I use as a run to her. I think it depends on how much diy they are prepared to do
Although they must be very handy as they have been doing their house up.

Suki is so so cute! Thank you for the lovely photos. You won't be happy with an empty cage once Suki has moved out.

But Luna, the hamster needed rescuing, it was closer to you than me sooo....yeh... I mean you specifically didn't need to rescue her BUT I know you wanted too
All joking aside Suki is adorable and lucky to go into another great enclosure, who knows where she could've ended up bless her.

Re: My first Foster Hamster
Ria, you do make me laugh - the mistress of suspense
At least I told you straight away about Suki
Thanks Flower Fairy. I like that teenykins.
Yes Engel you make me laugh and yes I did need to rescue her as some of the other people offering to help did not have cages!!!
Ok, so anyway I decided to name my very small rescue operation 'Luna's Hamster Rescue', how could it be anything else. I don't intend to do this often but just as and when I can help out balancing my own health needs and see a hamster in very dire straits. Even if it just once or twice a year.
I am hoping to move one day and so when that happens I will have an entire room dedicated to hamsters So then I can keep my own 2 hamsters and have 1 spare cage for fostering.
I have even created an adoption form for people to sign (is that daft?). Ria or anyone else that does this do you make people sign adoption forms?

Re: My first Foster Hamster
Adoption forms to sign doesn’t sound daft at all to me, I’m pretty sure that’s standard with most of the bigger rescues that I know of.

Re: My first Foster Hamster
Every bit of help counts even if you only end up being able to do it once or twice a year. As far as adoption forms go, I think that's a great idea and definitely something I would do if I were ever involved in rescuing and rehoming any species.
