Yes! I've done some research on chinchilla sand. I also looked into Zoo Med Reptisand as well, where I've seen people give good reviews on it for their hamsters.

I will keep a eye out for them. And the skinnier one eats more than the other one. The other one sleeps most of the day and night and only comes out to play for a little bit. She plays a little then sleeps for a while.

I will be getting their new home and toys in the next couple of days. Thank you SO much for the help! I really appreciate you!

I would stick exclusively to children's play sand, rinsed sifted and baked. It's a far cheaper option long term and the safest thing to use as long as you take the proper steps before using it!
