FINALLY!!! I have now sorted out what sex my robos are

As you know I have been having difficulty in sexing my 4 robos and the fact they ended up no longer getting on didn't help.

Well, I am pleased to say that I have now managed to sex the really skittish one too as I actually managed to hold it last night and that one too is also a boy.

So there we have it, my robos are 4 boys.

Thank god for that LOLOLOL

By the way, they are all very happy living individually.

well done! i have to admit only one of mine sexed easily, quite happily lay on her back with her feet in the ari, how lady like

Hey Muddles,

Could you explain exactly what you looked for. Basically I understand that the anus and genital area are much further apart on the male then on the female. As well - the male has the obviouse scent gland on its upper abdomen area. But sometimes its difficult to tell, and some males have the anus and genital area closer together... what helped you confirm the sexes?

I did have problems for ages trying to see what sex my four are.

I used babyboo's thread on how to sex a robo which Emma has put on here.

When I last looked the spot sort of in the middle of the robo was highly pronounced so there was no question that it's a boy and I discovered that all mine are boys as I could clearly see this with the anus at the bottom.

I think I had the problems before while they were still growing up but now they are mature adult robos (they are almost 6 months old now) it was clear.

While they were growing up I could not tell very well at all and for a long while I thought I had 2 girls and 2 boys.

How old are your robos? If you are able to post pictures of their underneaths (now thats a task lol) then we may be able to help.

when taking some pictures of my rorbs today i got a couple of their underside, bare in mind though these are fully grown robos, so it is more clear

It is easier with adults.

A good rule when sexing young pups is that if in doubt, house with males. One girl in with the boys is much less trouble than one boy in with the girls!

Yep, Mine are definately boys without a doubt. It was really hard to tell when they were growing though

Thanks for the responses. My robos are just over a month old. However, I can't wait until they are older as they will be sold soon this month.

Yes, I saw that link. i can easily sex my older robos.. but it's these younger ones that are difficult.

I believe the one's I'm trying to sex right now are males. When does the scent glad begin to show? And if they are female, should I see nipples by this age? (because I don't). Also, how many nipples does a female robo have? It's difficult to tell on my older ones.
