Default Essential oils and hamsters?

I got 2 robos recently and Prior to getting them I usually diffused essential oils in my room( also where the hamsters stay) would I be okay to continue diffusing them? Or just diffuse a drop or 2?

I wouldn't use essential oils in the same room as hams, the oils are too strong.

The fragrant pharmacy is a great book about essential oils and has a section on use with animals, try looking at that if you can find it in a library.

Essential oils are safe for some animals if you take care with what & how you use it but I wouldn't recommend even diffusing them with an animal as small & sensitive as a hamster.
