Question Overprotective Mum

Hi again!
I know he’s probably fine but since I’m new to hamsters I just want to be extra 100% sure!
Basically just want to check if it’s okay for Ron to be sleeping nearly ALL of the time. I know they sleep a lot but I’m just worried in case it’s not normal! He sleeps all day in his wee pouch which I expected but then around this time of night he gets up, has a quick snack, and then goes and sleeps out in the open beside his wheel. Then during the night I only hear him on his wheel very briefly (I’m awake most of the night too and quite a light sleeper).
Is this normal behaviour? Sorry if I’m just being over cautious!

This is perfectly fine. As a matter of fact it's a common occurrence among hamsters. All three of my friend's hamsters were much more lazy than this! (She had 2 Syrians, they both died, so now she has some sort of Dwarf I think it's a robo)

Mother of the world's smartest Syrian, Hamper! Well, maybe not the world's smartest but he's the smartest hamster I've ever seen! I'm also the aunt of the deadly vampire Ruby! He's not actually deadly or vampiric but we like to pretend

Thank you! Of course now that I’ve posted this he’s decided to be more active tonight! Which is good cause I love watching him, they’re fascinating little creatures
