Hamsters can fly?
Pippin, my Robo, hasn't quite figured out how his saucer wheel works, and ends up flying off loudly. Instead of running on the bottom, where he's supposed to, he tries to run directly up the middle, landing in his food bowl. It's that or landing in his bed, which I prefer.
I would reach in and help him out, but he's not quite tamed yet. Besides, he seems to enjoy it, and keeps getting back on. One day he will make a real good Hamster Wheel Runner, but maybe not today.

Re: Hamsters can fly?
The things they do, and the joy we get watching them.
My past ham Archie would run on the outside of his wheel, he would fall off but get back up and do it again. I would pick him of and put him in the wheel but, he had a fascination for the outside part.

Re: Hamsters can fly?
Pip used to do that with his old wheel! He didn't stick with it though. My Russian Dwarf, Nugget, she will sit in her bowl, stick her hands on the bars of the cage and drink from her water. It really is something to watch! Also a little tricky to describe.
