Re: Meet Miles.
Thank you for your sweet comments!
"Today mum bought me a new playpen. She kept saying that all of these people were talking about me on a forum and mentioned a plastic tub playpen. Plastic tub does not sound promising. That means it's inescapable. No Houdini tricks for me. However, she put some of my favourite treats in. I also got to climb a tissue box and survey my kingdom from up high. Next time, I am hoping she will put some juicy fruit inside so I can feast."
(note: the tub wasn't covered in this pic! I just laid the lid across as he was up quite high and I wanted to ensure he couldn't climb out. I moved it afterwards.)

Re: Meet Miles.
Aww, TOO cute!!! I'm glad that Miles had his first experience with his playpen; it really looks and sounds like he had lots of fun exploring everything. I love his adorable pics.
Miles, your sweet and cautious ham-parent doesn't want you to attempt any Houdini escape acts because you are so very loved. I'm sure you will have the most magnificent time playing in your new playground though. I love that you are observing your vast kingdom from your tissue box castle; Eros says that tissue boxes are excellent fun.

Re: Meet Miles.
"Hello everybody! My human has been very busy as she is back at sixth form, however I have been doing plenty whilst she is gone. When I haven't been planning intricate escape blueprints, I have been munching away on my favourite treat log. It's filled with plants and yummy things.
I am getting a lot happier in my home. I have put on a little bit of weight and I am starting to enjoy it all more, especially playtime. I'm not getting overwhelmed anymore. I think I will have to save my escape plans for another day.
Here is a picture of me doing my signature 'treats' face next to my favourite chewy carrot and cardboard tube hideyhole.
Much love to all of my fellow robos."

Re: Meet Miles.
Mile is lovely and he seems to be settling in well. He may like a sand bath. If he doesn’t already have one. Chinchilla sand is what most hamster owners use. He may pee in it too, which makes cleaning it up easier.
