Default Silent runner

My robo is using a silent spinner currently but the silent runner has caught my eye. She’s a regular size roborovski so it’s been fine, but I do prefer the enclosed design. Problem is I already got her an 8” trixie plastic wheel months ago and she really couldn’t spin it properly - it spun really slowly so I gave her the silent spinner back and she loves it. Sometimes I just feel the track is a little narrow for her hind legs though.
Does anyone have a video or something of a dwarf using the runner? I’ve heard it spins much better but really don’t want to waste my money on something she won’t be able to use, especially as this is even bigger than a trixie wheel (not to mention its expensive!)
Thanks!

The silent runner spins really easily, I don't have a robo but my Russian & Chinese all use them with no problem at all, a robo should be fine.

I decided to go with an open wheel for our robo - they are so tiny and fast I was worried he might try to jump out while running and miss the holes and bang himself! So I got an open wood wheel with a cork running surface - plastikoted all of it including the cork surface and it's doing really well - not stained or smelly. An 8" open wheel that spins well might be good. I got the rodipet 9" one but there is also this trixie wood one - because it has ball bearings its silent and spins really easily.

Our robo runs like the wind in a 9" wood wheel And he also loves his flying saucer! So you could maybe get one of those as well?

Thank you
Good point about the leaping out and missing the holes, can very much picture that happening. Yes I saw the wooden trixie one in the shop and thought that won’t stay clean for more than two minutes, didn’t think of plastikoting the cork. How often do you clean yours? I have to clean mine twice a week so worried about the wood wheel lasting.
Also she does have a flying saucer and loves it! Can’t tell which she preferred that or the normal wheel so left them both in

Erm - not very often! Maybe our robo doesn't pee in it but apart from a few scratches to the running area it's still looking like new! I painted two coats of plastikote inside and out - seems to have done the trick. I left both in as well

Haha my robo also pees in her wheel and it needs cleaning all the time - even went through the plastikote of her old wooden wheel (karlie wonderland) and I did multiple layers so I don’t think it would be the best idea. So I’m also back with the silent spinner lol. Seem to be a bit stuck for ideas!

I doubt the holes in the silent runner would be a problem for a Robo really, baby Chinese (admittedly bigger than a Robo but still quite tiny!) run in them with no problem.
If you do want an open plastic wheel the P@H version of the silent spinner is probably a better option that the actual silent spinner which is a bit rubbish now!

Just remembered! The 8" wodent wheel is called the "robo wheel" in Germany - the holes are smaller Probably a good option for a robo.

Are they smaller than the silent runner 9 inch wheel holes?
