I have had to separate roborovski pairs in the past and they have adjusted well in about two days. Glad they are both unhurt. Good thing you separated them promptly.

Sorry it was a middle of the night panic post, I came in at one am and was sitting talking to Rhubarb and crumble just ran at her. Today I’ve secured the divider and did some shopping for hamster treats and stuff. It’s sad it didn’t work out but they are both still sweet with me and my boyfriend and I don’t want either of them to get hurt.

I’ve had them both our tonight and have redone both their cages- this meant removing the sandpit and the digging pit, but has allowed for some height and ledges in their cages. I’m happy with the results of the rearrange and think the toys have been divided pretty evenly!

I’ve tried to reduce the sizes of these images on mobile so here’s hoping they’re not huge. A little bit fuzzy maybe!

This is a picture of them last week. It’s sad how quick it changed but I’m really glad we had planned for all eventualities

Here is Crumbles cage. she usually drank from the bowl so I’ve given her that, plus bought a food bowl at the pet shop for her today. She has a tunnel underground as well as a bridge in the top.

Here’s rhubarbs cage. I’ve given her the bottle which I’ve attached to some mesh she also has a new climbing frame on the back which is hard to see.

They were both out tonight at separate times and are definetly comfortable with us, though prone to jumping! Very careful when transferring them to a storage box to wait in while we clean.

Not to worry at all, I completely understand panic post and me personally do the exact same thing, only it’s when I’m exited lol. Ahh, the Detolf, a wonderful cage! I’m looking forward to hearing more of their adventures!

Sorry to hear you had to separate Rhubarb & Crumble but they'll gain so much confidence in their own space. That pic of the both of them eating is so sweet.
