Do you think a 16/17/18cm (ish) one would work between two? I am also sceptical of the trixie ones set up? It was just two bits of plastic I sloted together and I felt it was hard for even me to move as a person, I feel like there should be more moving parts to it.

Amazon has this 18cm one which could be good but I’ve never seen these before it has a bearing in it which is what I expected with the trixie one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B079L73F..._tbFABbAF27DB4

This one is slightly smaller but seems to be a more popular brand. If they're reliable and this is big enough I might just go with this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00228HR..._NcFABb22C7684

The 6.5” is fine for robos - thats the most popular one anyway. I’ve had several and they’ve all been good. Definitely easy for them to spin too. Actually wouldn’t want it to spin any faster as they can and do fly off them as it is!
The 18cm one looks interesting though would like to see how it is.

I got my Amazon refund today and the refund I got from the large trixie flying saucer actually came to the same amount as two of the 6.5" flying saucers - I just got two. I figure its best to have a backup/ if we need to separate them later they can both have one.

Here's a wee picture of Crumble. The hanging toy in the image uses sisal string - Is this safe for Robos? I remember being told it was the only "rope" safe for syrians.

Also what snacks would you recommend? They really don't seem to care about food!! They eat all their seed mix and that's about it, very little interest in veg or human snacks like cheese, even sunflower seeds aren't that much of a deal to them. Every ham I've had has been up for a look as soon as you start cooking! I've tried giving them peas, peppers, broccoli, carrots, green beans, banana, celery, and even "bad" snacks like cheese and a corner off my toast crust. No interest, maybe a wee nibble here and there and then the rest is left for me to clean out the next day :O You can see from the picture that the millet isn't being "stripped", just a nibble on occasion which seems so unusual to me!

I'm not worried that they're not eating, from cleaning them out I know they are hoarding and making their way through the hoard, but I am getting back into the habit of cutting hammy sized portions off my dinner and they're just not having it :S I thought they'd want some variety and veg?

I think they do nibble at things but only take what they want and leave the rest Nugget only nibbles a bit off his veg and leaves the rest. Im sure they'll love the flying saucer. I have that 6.5" small and furry one for our robo - I'm sure two could use it.

Aww, Crumble looks adorable with his millet and sisal carrot!

Eek! I can't believe I missed this fab thread. I adore robos and your duo Rhubarb & Crumble are so gorgeous. Double the cuteness, fluffiness, joy, innocence & trouble.

I haven’t updated in a wee while. I have some cute photos that I will post in a bit, but we have just had to seperate them. Came in after a night out and Crumble jumped on rhubarb and she was squeaking and scrabbling. There’s no blood or injury, we just didn’t want it to escalate. We have put in the wooden barrier made for this reason but I am worried they might miss each other as they’ve been so sweet to each other up until now

I will remake up the cage tomorrow

Oh no, sorry to hear they’ve had to be separated. A shame but don’t worry about them - they’ll adjust probably within a week maybe a little longer. They’ll be just fine

I can understand your concerns but they will adjust, it may take a little while for them to get used to the new arrangement but in the long run both will be happier on their own.

I’m so sorry that they had to be separated, but I’m glad you did the right thing. Like cypher and mangoandmimi, they will adjust in a week or so, don’t worry!
