Aww, it was wonderful seeing some of your beloved first hammies and Boppit. Thank you for sharing a bit of their story with us. They were all extremely adorable and absolutely gorgeous. I am glad that you were able to gain Pumpkin's trust and create a very beautiful bond with him. I love that he has a very pronounced heart that encompasses his eyes and nose - very sweet and endearing. I also enjoyed seeing how the creation of your username came about. Reminiscing and sharing special moments and beautiful pics of your cherished, loved ones at the Bridge is a lovely way to keep their memories alive. It is so evident how much you loved them all, and I'm sure they had the greatest life with you.

What a lovely array of past hamsters. I particularly like the look of Mango, he reminds me of my golden angel Arun (rip) who was also sweet and laid back.

Oh how cute! I love looking back on old photos of my past ham, Comet. Even if they are emotional they are so sweet! That picture of Pip is so cute! Seeing all your Syrian hams really makes me want to get one lol! Your Boppit is so cute and and her facial expression is so cute in this photo! Pearl looks like she was a great first ham! CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!!! Saphhire and Bamboo completely melted my heart! I love both of their up close shots!

Thank you cypher, dreamtree, flowerfairy, Sasha & Thin Lizzy. I love looking back on old photos!

Back to Madam anyway. Unfortunately I’m away again and she’s staying with someone else. Feel really bad but not a lot I can do. In other news, her new wodent wheel & stand arrived from rodipet the other week and then proceeded to break after a week of using it! Lucky rodipet are good with returns. I won’t lie I haven’t had the smoothest experience with wodent wheels so I’ve ordered the silent runner for when I get back. I’m aware the holes are large but I’m pretty sure it’ll be fine, we shall see. The other thing I’m excited about is that I’ve bought some Bunny dwarf hamster food that I can’t wait to try her with. Currently she’s on Burgess mainly, but I’m having to supplement it a lot for variety which isn’t really ideal.
Also, I’m pretty certain she’s allergic to the reptile aspen bedding I had to buy recently (I am too lol), not to mention I nearly choked on the dust. So that’s been ditched and we’re back to megazorb, which is much nicer in my opinion.
I can’t wait to get back and spend more time with my girlie - lately it seems I haven’t given her nearly enough time which is a shame, though I highly doubt she cares! I was wondering about maybe using my larger homemade cage for her but to be honest I barely see her make full use of the detolf as it is. The main reason I’m not currently using it is because it won’t fit in my car and it’s halfway down the country, but also that she does need to go in the zoozone 2 for weeks at a time sometimes, because of my housing situation this year coming. I’m not particularly happy with the sudden up and downgrades and think it might be more stress than what it’s worth - to be honest I’m not really sure, I think I just feel bad about the lack of attention and want to make up for it!

edit: Here she is!

Aww what a cutie. The zz 2 is easily big enough for her dont worry. My robo Mallow is currently in the grosvenor which is 80 x 50 and seems fine. He will be moving i to a 100 x 50cm cage in a week or so as he is used to a bigger cage.

Chocho really is delightful.

Yeah I guess it is more than enough room. I’ll leave her in the detolf lol! I’m sure mallow will appreciate the extra space again.

That is such a sweet video of her
I'm sure she's going to love both the silent runner & the new food!
