Talking Ok this was a bit sudden

I was planning on getting a robo or a Campbell soon but I didn't think it would happen today.
I had the cage all set up so it's ok but I went into pets at home today and adopted this sweet little robo i've named Tofu!

She was so cute and all alone and quite active. The information next to her said that she'd been in the store a while so they were trying to adopt her out.
My heart melted for her.
She has an Agouti coat and they didn't know exactly how old she is but she's about 3-4 months old probably.
I've been peering round the door frame a lot to see how shes doing and she is really having a blast with the tubes.
I had done quite a bit of research on robos and campbells before today so don't worry, although this is the first time I have had one (unless you count my sisters two about 8 years ago).
I'll try and get a photo up when I have gotten to know her better and she's settled in and everything

Any suggestions or tips from more experienced robo owners would be loved

Congrats on your little adoptee! She sounds lovely and it's so nice that she now has a forever home with you. Look forward to seeing pictures when she's more settled

Congrats! Robos may be hard to train but with time they will come around. I hope you have a good time with your hammy. They may enjoy some playtime and treats too. (When I play with my hamsters i put blankets and toys in the bathtub.)

Thanks.
It's so odd. Whenever I walk through or near the room she's staying in I hear her running on her wheel. I hope she's not trying to run away from her new home

My robo spends most of his time on his wheel. They seem to have so much energy compared to other species of hamster.

All the best with your new hamster.
