So far in taming, the first time I gave her a treat(most of the time is the food she was feed at the pet store), she hesitantly took it. Now she just takes it. Petunia doesn't seem to mind getting on my hand, mainly for treats. Using the tissue trick whenever I remember to do it XD
She seems to think fingers are for nomming on though. Even after making sure I wash my hands with unscented soap and use hand sanitize afterwards, she still noms. Not sure if I should try blowing on her face to discourage it or not. Doesn't nom on my fingers as much in the playpen time, but it still happens.

Her biorhythm seems to be nocturnal, oh well. So far she gets up around 11pm-midnight and is still up when I get up on work days(6am). I try to remember to give her a treat on those mornings to help with the taming process.

Even though the silent spinner is doing whats its suppose to do; run quietly. I would like it to be a little louder, but at least I don't have my mom complaining about it this time. The wheel running noise is a comfort noise to me, telling me everything is fine.

Soon I will start to slowly switch her to the food I've feed Georgia, but I need to break it up as it would be a little too big for her. The food is the Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro Health Mouse, Rat & Hamster Food.

Kaytee food is very low quality and best avoided.Dextrose and menadione aren't good quality ingredients(menadione in particular being the worse of the two).Higgins Vita Garden would be a better choice, coming from a much higher quality brand that has better standards and higher quality ingredients.

It would also be a more species appropriate diet unlike a pelleted food,as entirely pelleted diets don't provide adequate foraging opportunities(even if giving fresh foods and such).

Petunia is gorgeous! Don't worry about the wheel unless its too heavy for her to run in.
