Nugget will be 2 next month. He is doing fine. He looks older but still out and about and using his wheel. He has cleverly pushed his undercarriage lumps (which are quite mobile and dangly) between his back legs so he doesn’t trip over them and sort of drags them behind him. And is using his wheel again now. So there is no real change with him except he looks thinner but eats plenty and goes potty for blueberries.

Dear little chap Nugget. He really tries to get on with his life in the best way he can. I assume he is still taking his meds in food ok? Like with Mocho, it makes such a difference when long term meds can be given without stress.
When is his second birthday?

He will be 2 on 15th August That was the day he was actually born two years ago (adopted from an accidental litter).

Yes he absolutely loves his Metacam in baby food and licks it all up. Still loves his hammock as well. Special things get taken in there - a blueberry maybe or a piece of coconut - obviously so special they need eating in comfort. I'm glad I didn't take his wheel out as he's using it again now - not a lot - only at night I suspect (I put paper on top and it's gone each morning).

He doesn't come out that much - a little bit in the evening, mostly at feeding time. The hemp mat is still clean and dry as well - there was one area that got pee'd on (it shows up!) but I replaced that bit.

Dear little Nugget went to the rainbow Bridge yesterday. I will post when his photo memorial arrives. It's a photo of him printed onto birch plywood, which reminds me of his Rodipet house (even though he had moved out of there recently, probably for mobility reasons). Play well little boy, we miss you.
