Re: All my hamsters in one thread
Thank you BP. She came hurrying over to the bars today for food. She only likes the nuts and seeds and will drop the green logs and most of the biscuits!
Giving her porridge and baby food (not together)!
She does seem a bit unsteady which makes me think it must have been a stroke. Still here and still lovely.
Popcorn has had a new wooden wheel today. He loves his flying saucer but I wanted him to have an upright wheel as well. He LOVES it and had a good old whizz round earlier.
I popped him into his play box this morning and took him to see my Mother. She was enchanted with him and kept exclaiming 'ohnisnt he sweet' in a delighted voice. She loved his slanting red eyes white fur. Me too. He really is so unafraid and definately appreciated hismoutnof cage time.
More toys for him I reakon.

Re: All my hamsters in one thread
Popcorn has been enjoying exploring his new cage layout. He is definately an outgoing hamster and seems very relaxed. So glad I bought him x

Re: All my hamsters in one thread
I was just catching up on your wonderful thread. I'm so sorry to hear about Kashi not doing well, but I'm totally relieved that she is back to her lively self again now. I will be praying and wishing that she is with you for quite a while still. Hugs to you, FF!
I'm glad that Popcorn is doing so wonderfully and is quite the brave and outgoing hamster. He sounds like he has totally won the heart of your mother as well as yours. He sounds absolutely lovely.

I hope Kashi is ok! I'm particularly taken with her. She is so beautiful and stunning. The picture of her in your signature, she looks such a sweetheart!

Re: All my hamsters in one thread
Turrican, thanks for asking. Kashi is doing really well. I left the cage open the other day (by mistake, had to answer the door and just forgot).
Had a day when I didnt see her or notice any food missing (very very very unusual for her). I searched under the table where her cage was and ... there she was heading back behind the fridge!
I tempted her out with food in her carrier and put her back into the cage. She stuffed her pouches soooo full that she looked twice her usual size. She then had a massive drink of water. She has be wonderful ever since, full of life and gazing at me with her cute close together eyes. I am rather taken with her myself my little chocolate Kashi mouse x

Re: All my hamsters in one thread
What a scare it must have been for you with Kashi escaping toward the back of the refrigerator! It just takes a second of distraction and our little ones are out exploring. I'm so relieved that she is safe and sound in her cage, and all is alright with her. I'm also happy to hear that she is much more active lately, too. She is such a cutie! Btw, I love your new signature!

Re: All my hamsters in one thread
The fridge and cooker is where Master Harvey would head to.
So relieved Kashi was caught and returned, sounds like an adventure for her but, a panic for you. You really need eyes on the back of your head lol!
