Ah she is a tiny little fluff fluff! I love her white “eyebrows”, by the way.

Cress is still very scared of me, and runs to hide whenever she spies me, but she seems to be enjoying her bin cage, and is eating and running on her wheel. She's so tiny and speedy and active! I'm not stressed about her timidity, since it is still early days. I need to find a better location for her bin, though. She's rather low down right now, which makes it hard to observe her, except from above, and I don't like that. I might swap her and Beatrix's spots, because I have the opposite problem with Beatrix. She's up so high I can hardly reach into her cage!

Cress is settling in nicely. She loves her sand bath, and she really loves this thing I got her that is sort of like a wavy mountain made out of the cat scratcher cardboard material. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it has two sections and this sloping mountain type shapes that she an run up and down and then holes at the base. She just loves it, and I usually find her there. She really likes bell peppers and dandelions, but she has no desire to really interact with me yet, and I know Robos can be hard to tame. I'm totally content just watching her, and, to be honest, I'm a bit nervous about how fast she is and how tiny! I'm so used to holding Syrians, I worry Cress would slip out of my hands too easily. So I'm giving her space and just letting her see my hands in her cage as treat-bearers. She is so much fun to watch! She loves both her Silent Spinner (which I've had no trouble with; Emoji did not like it and never used it, but Cress runs away on it) and her saucer. She has both and uses them both vigorously. She's in the smallest cage (though it's still over the minimum), and eventually I want to get her in a 40 gallon breeder, but I can't quite afford that. For now she seems very content in her bin cage.

I'm glad Cress is settling in and providing you with lots of entertainment! I love watching videos of robos playing, they seem to move at the speed of light. I don't have any pointers for taming robos as I have never owned one ( ) however, I am sure that given time Cress will warm up to you.

Glad to hear she's settling in well! The cardboard you are talking about is called "corrugated cardboard" The key with robos is just being patient and persistent. Even more important is being confident with them. Go into an empty bathtub and lay out tunnels+boxes collect her into a cup. When you "pour" her out, let her into your hands, letting her treadmill across your hands for a few seconds then put her down. This will let you get used to handling a robo, and let her get used to you. Reward her for sitting on your hands, and eventually she may come to tolerate it

As for her cage, I use this bin with my robo and it's a bit over 600 sq in if filled with a decent amount of bedding. If your current bin is smaller than this and you are looking into upgrading, this may be a good choice

After reading all kind of things about scared and untamed robos it sounds to me that you're doing very well with Cress!! I'm glad that she is settling well. It must be a delight to watch such a cutie and tiny thing running around her cage
