AWWWW. Koppiage is so cute! His set up looks very nice. Good luck with taming! I love how robos look but I don't feel like I could tame one

aww, what a cutie! I have a weak spot for fuzzy little agouti robos, they're so adorable best wishes with taming, I'm currently trying to tame my two boys and it's going quite slow. Patience with robos is of the essence, I've had to learn that the hard way lol. And btw her cage set up looks wonderful, I would love to do a natural theme in a month or two after I'm done with the beach theme. I may just have to ask you for some tips when the time comes

I can see why you love the second pic of her peeking out, she looks so lovely in it

The name suits her even if it doesn't have any special meaning. She looks like she should have an exotic and long name after all

It's great to hear that taming is coming on well I don't have any experience first hand with robos myself, but from what I have read it sounds as though she is very courageous. And those pictures are so cute! Her face is all inquisitive, as though she is intrigued by you.

thank you, I may contact my gecko's breeder and ask what the name meant as I too am somewhat curious! I looked it up and I'll I got was a town somewhere I believe lol. I never realized just how much fun robos can be

Taming is going much better than expected (as I'll explain further below). She's definitely very courageous and inquisitive which makes things easier. CR, saw your thread on the natural theme and I'm definitely excited for the finished product if you do decide to go through with it. Something else I could recommend is TONS of bedding! Kopi likes to burrow beneath all her bedding (which is only 9 inches) and seems so happy with all her tunnels

Update on taming: Things went excellently tonight! She went into the bathtub for playtime (I sectioned it off so that she didn't feel too overwhelmed because bathtubs are pretty huge in comparison to robos) and I held her! I didn't expect her to allow me to pick her up, but she did. I'm all for taking things slow, but I wanted to see if I could simply lift her before trying to entice her into a cup to put her back, and much to my surprise, she sat still in my hands before lazily walking off. She didn't seem too spooked at all and actually was surprisingly comfortable. Hopefully this is a sign that she'll become fully hand tamed

Here she is being transported via solo cup

Do your hamsters seem to dislike the feeling of the bathtub? I find that mine all have so I put a towel down for them so that they don't skid about. Here she is exploring

Here's a tiny robo nose for you

Good to hear tamings going well, she's so adorable and that little cute nose peeking out Aww!
Towels are always recommended, nice and soft on their feet.

She let you hold her! Ahhh.... I am jealous, I want to hold her too sounds as though things are going well. I’ve actually never tried putting any of my hamsters in the tub as I worried they would get freaked out by the slidy feel and bright white colour, so I think the towel is a good idea. She looks so tiny in her cup!

I'd agree about towels being a good idea in bathtubs Or alternatively, you could get cheap fleece blankets, which tend to be very cost effective especially with the massive size difference compared to most towels in mind.
