Introducing Puchi
Puchi is my first hamster and on the introductions fourm I told you about my knowledge and a bit about her.
So like I said last time she is a roborovski and is my first ever hamster, she is quite timid and I am still yet to have her tamed but slowly she's building confidence( any tips are definitely welcome ) and also I have had her about a week.

Re: Introducing Puchi
How adorable she is! She looks like a scruffy little bird Though every hamster is different, robos tend to be more skittish and take a bit longer than most species to tame down so just keep that in mind. The key to taming is to be patient and persistent. Good luck

Re: Introducing Puchi
Thanks and yea I'm taking my time and letting her do the work and not moving on to palm feeding until she is really confident.

Re: Introducing Puchi
She is really cute, your right to take your time with taming, patience always pays with hams & going slowly I'm sure she'll gain confidence.

Aww! Puchi is adorable! Congratulations!
Patience is the way to bond with your little one. They are very good at sussing us out.

Re: Introducing Puchi
Awwwwwww....Most dwarves are pretty timid, much more so than Syrians, so it's probably best to go slowly like you say. Have you tried the tissue trick?
