Question Weaver slowing down?

Hi all. As some may know I lost one of my Robos a few days ago of what seemed to be old age, he was roughly 22 months old. His brother is starting to slow down too. They both lived in separate cages. Weaver is sleeping a lot more which I expect but now he isn't eating. His bowl of food and some of the food I scattered has not been touched but he is drinking fine. His wheel which his absolute favorite thing he is no longer using. I feel like I don't see him anymore. I am nervous as I can't help but think the end is nearing for him too... Is there anything I can do to encourage him to eat? He is a very fussy eater. He won't eat egg, most bits of veg, etc. I really don't want to lose him as I still haven't accepted the loss of his brother and I don't think I can cope with 2 fur babies going so soon...

I'm really sorry to hear this, I can imagine how distressing it must be.
Is it possible to give him a health check to see if there is anything wrong with him that might be treatable, if he's not eating it's possible he may have a problem with his teeth? If you can't do it would you consider taking him to the vet for a check or would you worry it might stress him too much?
Keep him nice & warm in this cold weather as that could be a factor, even with the heating on they can seem a bit more reluctant to leave the nest when it's cold outside.

He did eat most of his food last night which was good. I will try and have a look at his teeth just to make sure everything is okay. His fur looks lovely, he did a little bit of running last night on his wheel so he isn't in any pain. Weaver just doesn't come out as much anymore and doesn't use his wheel for more than half hour a night. I might be worrying too much and he might simply just be feeling a little old now. I will keep a close eye on him. If he can eat the same amount of food tonight as he did yesterday then that would be a good sign!

Sounds promising if he ate most of his food, it could just be slowing down due to age, they do tend to sleep more & be a bit less active as they get older & the time of year doesn't help, hopefully he'll be fine for some time yet.
I know it's far easier to say than do but try not to worry too much.
