It wasn't too bad. I'm used to having itches I can't scratch!!!!! (all the tattoos) It was just a bit hard to cover with makeup without it being obvious. More of a self-conscious thing with me. I was just worried about my wee babies. They looked so sore and hated the baths they had to have.

That's good that you were taking good care of your pets, did they get sores more than one time?

There's still room for Ariana here but I want to eliminate problems, as much as I loved her. Now I have Angel, I'll concentrate on my current hams. She's still in cage adjusting mode for a week, no interaction.

She came out this morning chewing on a Whimzee tooth brush.

Aww I just got some of those wee toothbrushes for all my hams. They seem to be enjoying them! Although when I was lying in bed I could hear one of the syrians trying to run with it in their wheel. They aren't the brightest of hamsters :P

Luckily the piggies only had the one bout of ringworm. It took a couple of tries to find something that would work on it. It upset me so much seeing them distressed, so I maybe didn't take all the precautions I should have. I would cuddle them and comfort them when it might not have been the best idea. I just wanted to try and sooth them.

That would be upsetting to see your pets suffer. I know I'm stressed when my animals get sick. Glad it was only one break out. Hope you didn't suffer yourself too much.

It's been a week now since Angel has been here & she's just started exploring (in daylight) yesterday. I went up to her cage once about 3 days ago & she ran for cover. So she's getting used to me putting my hands in her tank with good things, chew toys, treats, food, etc

She's just starting to make her house her home. Not fully confident yet so I'll give her another week to settle in, I know it sounds like a long time buy it pays off later.

It sounds as though she's one lucky girl with a very patient and loving parent. Each little one has their own temprement, but it sounds as though she's gaining in confidence. Good luck to you both x

Thank you, I'm looking forward to getting to know her personality. Will be fun so I'll wait till she's ready. Pretty soon I'll be able to give her treats & she won't run for cover when she sees me. HopingXx

Angel came was curious of her surroundings in the light for the 1st time yesterday. I didn't do much but drop a meal worm & talked to her from a distance. In 3 days I will have had her for 2 weeks. I don't think I'll be able to photograph her anytime soon as she doesn't like the fladh, that's okay tho

Unfortunately Angel is a hider. It's past 11:00pm and she's still not up. If I get up real early I can get a glimpse of her. I've never seen her use either one of her wheels. I don't know what to do other than love by providing her a home? Maybe she will turn around in the weeks to come, hopefully?

Here is a video of the first day I adopted her a little over 2 weeks ago. The other morning she has really grown. I figure that she's close to 3 months old by now. So that's 3 more months of growing. Should be interesting to see how much more she will grow?

Any suggestions to get her out of hiding. She's not so much skittish but real fast. I've laid out treats for her and millet seeds in front of her house. Don't know what else I can do if she wants to hide all the time?

Here is a video of her exploring 1/2 of her cage. I have since put a 4.5 in silent spinner and a medium saucer in her cage as she did not take to the medium sized silent spinner.

Awwww what a sweet video. She was sooo tiny!

Flower and Fairy are quite big now. Nice and plump. It really is hard to beat roborovskis for cuteness.

I find that if i put plenty of tunnels and hidey houses in their cages they feel secure and stay out and about anbit longer during forage time.

She really is lovely.
