Re: Latte my white robo
She's on a diet now, no meal worms for awhile & no seeds (except what's in her seed mix, some nights no sunflower seeds) she has slimmed down a little since I've been doing that. I'll keep it up until she's not chubby anymore, maybe another week or two?

Re: Latte my white robo
It is unusual for hams to become overweight, cutting down on treats isn't a bad thing but rather than cut too much out though it's generally better to encourage more activity.
Scatter feed or hide food in various places so she has to forage for it, much more natural & good exercise too.
Not sure what your set up is like but if possible see if you can add anything that might also encourage her to be more active generally, whether it's burrowing, climbing (safely that is!) or just generally exploring things.
Are you weighing her regularly?

Re: Latte my white robo
That's what doesn't make sense, she is super hyper, like any robo I suppose? She has 2 wheels which she is constantly running on. I just feed her too much food & I guess she doesn't know when to stop eating? lol

Re: Latte my white robo
Latte is waking up a couple hours earlier 7:30-7:45pm & going to sleep later 8:30-8:45am & I hear her running on her wheel for hours at night. She wakes me up sometimes even being in the next room. Needless to say she has lost all her chubby Ness now with all this hyper activity. She's eating good & seems happy. Just seems that her energy levels have doubled? She's 8 mo old, no other changes in her environment. Anybody else have a robo that increased their energy levels dramatically & is she ok?
