Robos are like little beetles, they are SO fast! Especially when they have free reign to run! Baby robos are probably like fleas! I would determine where they are (which room) keep that room close off and do all the tricks mentioned, especially the tube leading into something with food or their scent inside near a dark area. Sit quietly and watch and then slowly on hands and knees, creep over and block the entrance. Hope you get both back slatted. It will take time but don`t give up! x

Yep...little blurs...just out of the corner of the eye...and so reactive to any movement too.. and half the size of an adult at the moment.

They have ignored the cucumber and boxes..they are probably having a whale of a time at the moment and have not grasped the gravity of the situation.

Am seriously considering some sort of net...as do not have net curtains...need to get to them quickly.

Will keep everyone updated...at least whilst I see them shooting around I know they are alive...or at least one is...they do not seem to be together which is a shame.

Try blocking off the area you know they are in and reduce their ability to be able to run around in a wider area? Use anything that will block them from scooting to another part of the room! Try a charity shop for an old net curtain or even ask a neighbour? x

Crikey the little whizzers are still out there. Souffle's idea was good to use the females and Mum to attract them. Did you manage to fix up a bucket trap yet? A waste paper bin would do if you don't have a bucket maybe, with a towel in the bottom. Maybe you could use magazines as the steps up as they would make quite narrow steps. On the top step put a toilet roll tube so that most of it is sticking over the edge of the bucket, but enough is on the top step that it won't fall in on its own with a treat at the far end. The idea is they go in the tube to get the treat and the tube tips over into the bucket.

You can also try an empty bottle on its side with food in and a book or something to enable them get in or buy a humane/live mouse trap.

At the moment they are still running around the bungalow having a great time..It is hard to explain quite fast they are but I am sure we have all seen the blur of legs on wheels that show on posts....and that is about the speed of the entire little ones running around...whizz...It is good that they are still alive but I am not fast enough to spot them and move to drop anything on them and they are not consistently in the same room, I cannot hear them unless they chew and they do not seem to fall for the bucket trap nor do they want to be around their Mum or brothers, apparently!.

I will keep looking and hoping...and praying that I sexed them correctly too...otherwise if not careful will have a wild Robo colony in my home!

Thanks for all the messages...I am hoping and praying that they should be apprehended this weekend as I will have company so many hands may help corner them....I hope.

Sounds like it's time for a large net curtain! This might sound silly, but does shutting a door keep them in one room or can they get under the door? If you see/hear them in one room, maybe you could shut the door, block off the gap at the bottom with something (a piece of wood? or a sausage draught excluder thing) and stand there with the net curtain and a fishing net!

This so reminds me of the adventure of a Chinese Hamster escaped in a Automobile several years ago. The owner could see the little critter but could not catch him. Finally after what seemed like weeks they caught him in a humane live mouse trap.

I don't suppose you can lear them out and into a wheel so you could toss a sheet or net over the whole wheel while they ran inside it and thus making it hard for them to escape uncaught because of the sheet, could you?.
