Introducing Cas and Dean...
Hello! I just wanted to introduce my babies
I've had them for almost a month now so I thought it was about time to bring them on the internet, not just Instagram!
I'm not sure if my photo is too big, so click here to see them!
The mostly white one is Dean, the other is Castiel.
And here they are attacking a treat - Dean on the left, Cas on the right.
Thankfully, they generally get along really well!
I know it's not always the case that two hams will live together happily, but these two girls seem perfectly happy to share. ( I have a spare cage, and have had that since their arrival, just in case! Glad I haven't had to use it, though.)
They're not too bothered by people, as long as nobody tries to pick them up haha, but they're such sweeties, I love them so much :3

Hi Meet and Welcome to HC.
The pic of your little girls is so adorable.
You seem organised with the spare cage should they fight.
Fingers crossed they don't.

Re: Introducing Cas and Dean...
Oh they are sweet! Pardon me if you already know this but to minimize the possibility of fighting you should have two of everything-- two wheels, two houses with front and rear(or side) exits (to prevent one trapping the other), two of any toy. Also no levels or shelves as they can get territorial about them. Here's hoping your girls continue to get along they are wonderful to watch!

They are so gorgeous!
It's really nice that they're happy to live together but good that you're prepared with a spare cage just in case, fingers crossed they'll continue to get along fine.
Look forward to seeing more of the adorable duo

Soooo cute! I remember when I got my little Robos and I was SO excited ♥
They're really sweet! It's good to hear they're not fighting, hopefully they'll continue to get on well!
I also see you're a supernatural fan! I used to LOVE that show too! They make very cute hammies c: ♥

Re: Introducing Cas and Dean...
Thank you guys! :3
In the beginning I was so anxious about the possibility of them fighting. I had never been told anything about that and only found out when I read posts on here so I immediately got a spare cage, which is all set up, but it only gets used when their home is being cleaned and they curl up in their little tube together and sleep haha.
They love to run alongside each other, despite having two wheels in their cage, but I think they're realising for themselves (because they didn't want to listen to mummy) that they're both a little too big now to fit in next to each other :P
I have two water bottles, and food bowls - but they've never fought over those either, and even try to climb in their food bowl together. I have multiple hidey homes for them that get ignored in favour of curling up together. I'm glad I got myself prepared, though now I have a cage set up under "their" bed (where their cage stays) mostly unused, and spare bottles/bowls/homes/toys that just aren't really used/needed
I finally learned how to attach images! Yay! This is their current set up. Yes it is that tiny bowl they like to try and sit in together, and yes their hammy butts are too big to share haha. They've also taken to litter and bathing sand really well too, but that's another story!
Sorry for the long post!

Re: Introducing Cas and Dean...
They are both so cute! I love the second photo. Great names too I'm a big supernatural fan. I actually considered using Castiel/Cas as a name for a pet if I ever got one :P I probably would have used it for a cat though (I have a 'Catstiel' sticker on my phone of an illustrated cat with a tie and wings :P). Didn't think of it for a hamster though, so I'm happy someone else has named their lets after my favourite SPN characters.
