Aspen Or Carefresh
I currently use carefresh or other similar brand beddings, but I have had alot of people tell me robos prefer aspen. Is there any truth to this?
With my Russians I always used carefresh.
Is one better then the other?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Aspen Or Carefresh
I did get some aspen once but thought it was a bit scratchy. I prefer Fitch to Carefresh but that's in the Uk. You could mix Carefresh and Aspen maybe! I believe Boxo is popular in the US as well - probably similar to fitch as it's recycled softened cardboard I think. You could even mix all three which would make an interesting substrate for your hammy and maybe help to hold any tunnels they build as well.

Re: Aspen Or Carefresh
I prefer Carefresh. Hector, my robo seems to dig through it better and I think it makes nicer nests.
