Souvarine has settled in really well. He's such a lovely little guy and so friendly. He likes to sit on my hand, to start with for food, but now he'll sit on it without. He had a walk up my arm when I put it in the tank the other day. I feel honoured that he trusts me enough to sit on my hand as our previous robo, Ligeia, wouldn't come anywhere near us.



He spent the summer living in a 3ft tank in my study/teaching room as it was cooler in there. He was very popular with my students. He has now moved upstairs to the guest room so he'll be warmer over the winter and he's also been upgraded to a 4ft tank.

That is so lovely to see, what a sweet little guy he is.
Really goes to show how much is down to individual character as much a species, I can imagine how happy it must make you to have the little guy enjoy interacting with you so happily.
