Sand Bathing?
Hi Ya'll,
So I just got some bathing sand for Tybolt. I put it in a dish and gave it to him. But... He doesn't seem interested I think he's actually afraid of it. Does any one know if this is normal. Or if it takes them a while. I could probably train him but I thought it was a natural instinct for robo hamsters. Any ways any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sand Bathing?
Some times new things in their cages can be a bit scary. Give him some time he will love it I am sure

Re: Sand Bathing?
Since this post is about bathing, I think it's okay to ask this here? I just saw a girl on instagram had washed her robo in water and had a picture of him all wet! As far as I know this is very bad? Should I tell her?

Yes it is very bad! Bathing a hamster can kill them. I'm pretty sure they can get hypothermia
