Chuck seems to be disengaged too. I mean he is the one who was bitting lou but he just seems sad. He doesn't want to leave the new wooden enclosure I bought him..

Hi Colin, I know it was hard for you to return the other robo but you know deep down you've done the right thing and someone else will come along real soon and snap him up.
Chuck will adjust quickly to being solo and he will venture outside soon as he's hungry!
Just be sure to encourage him with some treats and talk to him, he might be feeling a bit bad about what happened.
In time you'll bond and enjoy the the happiness hamsters bring as pets. Good luck!
