I didn't think my little robo, Aspen, had taken to her flying saucer, so I ordered a wheel. Then, before the wheel arrived, I got up one night and popped in to see that the girls were all having fun. To my surprise, Aspen, was making the most noise running like crazy on her flying saucer, he he.
I did put the wheel in her tank when it arrived but its so far only been used as a seed larder!!
So glad Hector has got the hang of his wheel now too. Sounds like he's settled in nicely.

Re: Hector
2 weeks in & Hector is settling in nicely. I've decided to keep him in his mini duna for a while longer 'til I know how tame he will get (thanks for the advice DrKMcK). He's still too twitchy to try getting him to take a seed from my hand. He'll happily take a sunflower seed from me though & over the weekend he's just gotten to the point where he's started to eat it there & then so that's a good improvement. Previously, he'd take the seed & then scuttle off under his shelf to eat it. I'm going to make sure he regularly stays out in the open when eating a treat before I move onto the next stage.

I'm like a techy wiz-kid, me
I think it's the nose that does it for me.
Also, you can't really see it in these photos but he has due to 2 little rips in his ear & some dark fur patches (I'm assuming scarring where only the dark underneath has so far grown back), one to the side of his eye & also a heart shaped patch on his bum. I think it gives him a slightly piratical air. A bit of a captain jack swagger

Re: Hector
Good to know he wasn't defying gravity and taking his substrate with him.
I know, Johnny Depp totally has a heart shaped patch on his bum too. I remember seeing it one time when... oh wait, that was a dream.
