Toys for Robos?
My little four-month-old Robo doesn't have any interest in chewing sticks and other assorted chew toys (although he does show a natural curiosity about his environment). I previously owned a Campbells, and she LOVED anything she could sink her teeth into.
Is this normal for Robos? This little guy is my first one! If I remember my Campbells correctly, she wasn't very interested in toys as a baby, either. Maybe my Robo will grow into it -- especially once his teeth start to get longer.

Mine liked tunnels and bridges best.

Re: Toys for Robos?
My two Robo's are completely different. Mabel adores chewing. Wilbur loves running and climbing. Ive found they both adore the antos crocodiles to have a good munch on and shelled walnuts too.
Wilbur in the first two, Mabel in the last two

All my robos like toilet rolls best. Leave some paper on and they like it even more! Other than that they liked the purple crinkle tubes you can get from P@H. Basically any tube of any sort!

Re: Toys for Robos?
My boys don't seem to chew much either, they do love digging and running through tubes.
Their favourites are those wooden tunnels with holes drilled through...
They would spend all day and night running around on these if they didn't also have to eat, sleep and hide from the giant hand that keeps trying to give them mealworms!

Re: Toys for Robos?
Some of mine don't bother with chewing regularly, but when offered an antos chew (they're called Whimzees in the US, can be bought at Petco) they go crazy over it. Mine also love walnut in shells, I drill a few holes in them so they can smell the nut inside. I also have a few robos that love apple chew sticks and will shred them to bits in a few days, but most of them don't really pay any mind to them. I guess some are just more picky than others.

Re: Toys for Robos?
Yeah my baby has absolutely no interest in the apple sticks. The log seems like a good idea though! I think my Robo is finally starting to take a liking to sunflower seeds as well, although I try to limit the "junk food."

Re: Toys for Robos?
I would suggest plenty of tubes and hidey houses for Robos as they tend to be a lot more nervous and flightly then Campbells. If you are worried about teeth growing, as others have said I would denfinatly recommend antos dog chews as both of my hamsters love them. Also the edible logs, both of my hamsters love theres though Mischief has completely distroyed hers- there is competely nothing left! Be careful when useing them though, Robos are not prone to dibetes but the edible logs still contain alot of honey in them. So that may better not beening a regular toy.

Thank you Truffle and everyone! Tubes and logs it is! I'm sure Pumpkin will love it.

Re: Toys for Robos?
Bird seed hanging seed bars are really good they have to nibble / chew at them to get the seeds they love off (budgie ones etc), also the dog chews others have mentioned my robo's like).
