Default how to introduce 2 robos

What is the best way to introduce two robos?

I aquired yet another unwanted robo today and would like to try him with biscuit, my lone male. What would the best course of action be?

(BTW, Shake and Vac the unwanted females went to a new home yesterday. They are now absolutley adored by a 15 year old girl and live in a german cage which puts my zoozone to shame in the way of size, rivals P@H in the amount of toys it has to offer and gives my flat a run for it's money in the way of price!!)

Also, I've got a bin cage which I would like them to live in. It has no previous inhabitants and is unused at present. Just thought I would add this incase it would be better to introduce them on neutral terretory? Sorry, can't spell terratory! Territory? Teritary? Hmmm...

Hiya,

First of all please make sure that both hams are male!

What kind of cage are you introducing them in?

The best cage is a tank like cage. You should completely clean out the cage and place a thick layer of shavings in it, then scatter plenty of food all over the shavings and place two water bowls / bottles in the tank too.

You can then place the two hams in together and see how they get one - to be honest i rarely have problems with introductions, but if you do have problems then you can use the split cage method.

You could try by putting them into a cage with a mesh divider to begin with. This will give them time to get used to each other. Then move them into a new cage, this way there are no previous territory problems. Hope this helps
